Job Description

The Donor Relations Coordinator provides exceptional organizational support for Life-Giving Partners (LGP) and their philanthropic gifts. This role supports the activities of Haggai International's mandate by recognizing the impact of Life-Giving Partners. These activities include partnership relationship support, recognition activities (e.g., database, newsletter content, and distribution of development and partnerships materials), and donor stewardship. This position maintains a positive image of Haggai International with its LGP, stakeholders, and the public.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stewardship & Recognition

•       Support donor stewardship activities, including producing thank you letters, stewardship reports, and other donor recognition elements.

•       Support donor recognition activities including, but not limited to, the annual impact report and website.

•       Liaise with relationship managers and the marketing and communications team to provide stewardship deliverables.

•       Support the Development team with stewardship and engagement asset creation as requested.

•       Assist with coordinating and collecting required materials (stories, images, etc.) from internal and external stakeholders.

Events & Fundraising Coordination

•       Support donor stewardship events by assisting with lists, event logistics, and asset development.

•       Support partnership development by drafting and sending communications and other coordinating duties.

•       Collaborate with internal teams to develop donor and program impact reports.

•       Develop and maintain engagement processes to support donor journeys.

Preferred Experience

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

•       Minimum 2 years of professional experience in development/fundraising for a not-for-profit or charitable organization.

•       Experience developing content to engage/steward external stakeholders and demonstrating strong proofreading skills.

•       Experience managing donor relationships, activations, and the donor cycle; knowledge of event management processes is an asset.

•       Skilled in effectively coordinating multiple projects, scheduling, managing deadlines, and prioritizing tasks.

•       Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.

•       Experience working with CRM fundraising platforms (RENXT), including list management, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerAutomate, is preferred.

•       Experience working with social media, including engagement with online communities, is an asset.

•       Learn/understand Content Management Systems (WordPress), Adobe, and analytical tools such as Google Analytics and email analytics.

EDUCATION:

•       BA or post-secondary certification equivalent in fundraising management (preferred), public relations, or communications.
